NORDMANN FIR (Abies Nordmanniana)
Nordmann fir is the most popular Christmas tree in European homes and is well suited as a Christmas tree and cut greenery.
The tree has glossy, soft, dark green needles that are lush and densely set. The tree retains it needles for a long time, even after cutting, and the trunk does not have any resin.
Naturally, Nordmann firs are most prevalent on the slopes of the Caucasus Mountains on Georgia’s border with Russia, which is where the vast majority of Danish-grown trees have their provenance.
