ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PRODUCTION
Our production is environmentally friendly and sustainable. Natural trees do not harm the environment because carbon sequestration exceeds emissions by about 2 kg per tree according to Dane Christmas Trees. To ensure high quality at all stages of production and processing, we are certified by Naturbaum, Global Gap and Grasp.
JUST IN TIME DELIVERY
We ensure fresh, high-quality trees packed on pallets so they are fresh on dispatch. It’s important that our high-quality trees reach the end user quickly and gently. That’s why we offer secure loading at the agreed delivery time. Our production flow allows for multiple deliveries and flexible delivery methods, including different pallet sizes.
FROM QUALITY SEEDS TO SAFE DELIVERY
Our Christmas trees are Nordmann firs, which grow in fields near Denmark’s most beautiful fjord, Mariager Fjord. The process starts with quality seeds from sealed bags being sown and nurtured under optimal conditions. Later, the small trees are planted in our fields and carefully nurtured for a number of years – until the tree is felled and shipped directly from us to our European customers.
CARING FOR THE TREES
Our Christmas trees grow in optimal conditions. The trees are sheltered by windbreaks and green spaces. We care for the Christmas trees to minimise weeds and pests and plant them in the sandy soil that is optimal for Nordmann fir. We regularly prune and shape with hand secateurs, the tops are rolled 5 to 6 times each year so that the distance between the branches is the same with around 30 cm between them, which results in beautiful uniform trees, and we continuously adjust the chemicals and fertiliser so that the tree always has optimal growing conditions.
WE HAVE CUT DOWN THE TREE
Our Christmas trees are continuously harvested by professional Christmas tree workers with many years of experience, so they are always fresh when the tree is loaded onto lorries ready to be transported quickly to all European markets. We can deliver trees at very short notice if required, as we have the necessary manpower and handle all processes related to processing and dispatch ourselves.

We are Naturbaum-, Global Gap- and Grasp-certified producers with the highest standards of processing, orderly conditions, high quality and we are subject to extensive controls.
We cultivate more than 200 hectares
Dane Christmas Tree plants more than 200,000 Nordmann firs and around 30,000 Noble firs every year. We value beautiful uniform trees and high-quality Noble fir branches.
We ensure the best growing conditions for our trees. Windbreaks are planted around the Christmas trees, and our green spaces are maintained and preserved so that the trees are in a beautiful and natural environment that provides optimal conditions for growing premium Christmas trees and greenery.
We cultivate approximately 200 hectares, but aim to grow and develop so that the areas and new plantings are continuously expanded to meet the needs of even the largest customers.
